By using my website and/or commissioning me to create any typewriter stationery item for you, you agree to understand and accept my following policies and terms.
I respect the privacy of my website users and customers. Your information may be collected in various places on this site: in comment forms, in the contact form, and when you make a booking via email and important details are taken from you to fulfil the booking.
I will never sell on or publish your personal information. It is stored within WordPress or my own booking system on a private and password secured laptop. I work alone and not with other staff or third party website managers or advertising companies, and I don’t use third party tools like Google Adwords or Google Analytics.
WordPress will log your activity on this website (e.g. what pages you visit and how long you spend on them). This is not personally identifiable information and is only accessed by myself for my own reference.
When communicating with Say It With Type, please note that comments received about my work via email and social media may be used as testimonials in marketing and communications material.
Everything I create is the property of Say It With Type and its owner, me, Rebecca Rimmer Givens. Customers cannot replicate my art, stationery, concepts, items or words, but are free to use my photos for sharing on their own websites and social media feeds, but only if accompanied with credit back to Say It With Type.
If I create a piece of stationery with words that do not belong to me (for example, if I was to type a Shakespeare quote), the original author of the statement or quote will be specifically and consistently credited (and if possible tagged with their handle on Instagram).
If images by other photographers are used, they will be consulted first and appropriately credited. Otherwise, all photography used on this website and in my marketing is taken by myself.
I cannot accept returns for custom items unless they have been broken or damaged in transit, in which case I will liaise with Royal Mail and asses and attempt to rectify on a case by case basis. All items are posted out tracked, with full protective packaging, including bubble wrap, so damage or loss is highly unlikely. Some items may be framed in glass and I cannot be held responsible for accidents that incur if you break the item and do not take care unwrapping and handling it.
If an item is logged with Royal Mail as being signed-for your end, it has therefore been accepted as delivered and I can’t take responsibility if that person or neighbour does not pass the item on to you.
Some of my stationery is made with dried flowers and plants. To ensure these items keep colour for the longest time, try not to leave the item in sunlight and please accept the reality of real-life foliage that may naturally change shade and colour over time.
Be aware that real flowers and plants are for display and event purposes only and are to be handled with care, washing your hands after touching and wearing gloves if necessary. Almost all of the natural plant and flower elements I use to create my art (AND materials like photo paper, glue and craft paper) are not to be ingested – keep well out of reach of babies, children, pets, and if necessary, adults.
